USB screen projection steps
Step 1: Turn on the USB debugging mode of your phone.
Step 2: Use a USB data cable to connect to the computer.
Step 3: Open [Panda].
Different models of mobile phones have different ways to open it. Please search on Google.
Different Android system versions have slightly different ways to open USB debugging.
The following uses Samsung, which is more common in the market, as an example to explain.
Step ① | Step ② | Step ③ | Step ④ | Step ⑤ |
Go to Settings on your phone and tap "About phone" | Click "Software Information." | Click the version number 3-7 times in a row until the prompt "Developer mode is enabled" appears. | Return to the settings interface, and "Developer Options" is now displayed. | Click "Developer Options", turn on "Developer Options", and then turn on "USB debugging". |
[USB debugging] - turn on
[Allow USB installation] - turn on (for installing the screen projection keyboard to facilitate keyboard typing)
Xiaomi/ Redmi phones need to turn on [USB debugging-security settings], otherwise they can be mirrored but cannot be operated
VIVO phones need to turn on [simulated clicks], otherwise they can be mirrored but cannot be operated
Huawei or Honor phones need to turn on [allow USB debugging only in charging mode]
The cable must have a data transfer function, because some cables can only be used for charging
It is best to connect the cable to the USB port on the back of the computer host, which is more stable, and it is best to plug it into the USB2.0 port on the back of the host (black USB port)
Solution
The cable cannot be connected (replace with the original cable)
The tail plug of the mobile phone is damaged (replace the mobile phone device)
The USB port of the computer motherboard is not powered enough (try to use the USB2.0 port on the back of the host, or increase the power supply of the host)
If a hub is used, the hub may be underpowered (try to reduce the number of devices connected to the hub)
Is the system Win7? If yes, it is recommended to upgrade to Win10 or install Android driver.
Is the Android system version of the phone above 7.0? Because it is not compatible with those below 7.0, it cannot project the screen.
What phone model is it? If it is Huawei, please follow the steps below.
Huawei phone connection steps:
Install Huawei Mobile Assistant on the computer
Use a USB data cable to successfully connect the phone and Huawei Assistant
The phone will push the Huawei driver, click to install
After the driver is successfully installed, exit Huawei Mobile Assistant on the computer
Replug the USB cable, the phone will pop up an authorization box, click to allow
If it still doesn't work, please try restarting the phone
Make sure the USB cable supports data transmission, because some USB cables can only charge, and USB cables that can only charge cannot project the screen.
Make sure the USB cable is plugged into the USB2.0 port on the back of the computer host, because the USB port on the back of the host is more stable.
Make sure the computer can normally recognize the mobile device connected to the USB cable. If the computer cannot recognize it normally, Panda will not recognize it even more.
Click [Fault Detection] on the Effect Guard software page to see if the mobile device can be recognized. If there is a device and it is not authorized, please re-plug the USB cable or restart the phone. The authorization box will pop up on the phone page. Please click Allow. If there is no device, it means that the computer has not recognized the mobile device. Please check if there are any omissions in steps 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
