USB connection mode
Theoretically, the motherboard of an ordinary home computer host supports a maximum of 127 USB connections, but most motherboard manufacturers limit the number of USB connections to 40. Therefore, under normal circumstances, a home computer host can only connect to 40 devices.
The motherboard of a commercial server usually adopts the X79 or X99 architecture, which has no limit on the number of USB connections and can be unlimited in theory.
OTG or WIFI connection mode
If you use network connection modes such as OTG or WIFI, the number of connections is not limited by the computer motherboard, so there is no need to consider the problem of the computer motherboard. But it is limited by the performance of the router.
Usually, home routers can only support up to 20 devices for stable use, and more will cause frequent disconnection. Enterprise routers can usually support up to 40 devices for stable use, and more will cause frequent disconnection.
The most cost-effective router solution is soft routing. In theory, a soft routing device can support hundreds of devices for stable use at the same time. Of course, the premise is that your bandwidth must be sufficient. If the upstream and downstream speeds of the bandwidth are not enough, it will still be stuck.
First, check whether the computer (open this computer) recognizes the device. If the computer does not recognize the device, the software cannot recognize it, so you need to find the problem with the computer. If there is a device in the computer and the software cannot recognize it, there are probably the following reasons Cause analysis:
The mobile phone USB debugging switch is not turned on;
The device has not installed the mobile phone driver;
Adb conflict, there are multiple different versions of Adb.exe files in the system. Solution:
Check USB debugging in the mobile phone developer options.
Refer to the mobile phone driver installation problem to install the driver.
Refer to the Adb conflict resolution method.
First turn off the [XHCI] item under [USB] in [BIOS], then try to change the USB port of the computer, and finally try to use a specific USB expansion card. If some motherboards have extra card slots, you can buy a USB expansion card. One expansion card can carry about 15 devices. It depends on the computer motherboard.
Find a merchant to obtain the adb authorization file (adbkey, adbkey.pub),
Put these two files in the C:\Users\Administrator.android folder, overwrite them, and then restart the computer.
Click on the panel "Devices" to view the status of all devices.
